Beer for Burger King
From DRAFT Magazine:
A South Beach Burger King will become the first fast food restaurant in the country to offer patrons a beer with their food.
Starting in mid-February, customers will be able to order Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors products for $4.25 a bottle or get a brew with their $7.99 Whopper combo meal.
The move is an attempt to follow trends in the industry, which show the average restaurant-goer getting older.
“The Burger King customer is aging, so they’re just trying to grow up with the customer,” Linda Lipsky, a restaurant consultant, told the USA Today.
But the upshot: Beers at Burger King. Sweet. Maybe that’s why The Burger King always looks vaguely drunk and totally confused.
